Signature Aviation Executive Terminal & Hangars
Corey Barksdale's original artwork found a second life as large-scale murals throughout the Signature Aviation Executive Terminal and Hangars, a private aviation facility tucked into the Hartsfield-Jackson grounds. Architecture and interior design firm SchenkelShultz built the murals into the FBO (fixed-base operator) building, the VIP and VVIP lounges, and the corridors connecting them — turning bare hallway wall into a first impression steeped in Atlanta culture and storytelling for the private aviation clients, sports charters, and VIP travelers who pass through.

Concourse A Food Court Mural
Corey Barksdale's art turned up again at Hartsfield-Jackson in 2022 and 2023, this time filling out the Concourse A food court as the airport worked through a terminal renovation. Rather than commission a single new piece, the project pulled several of his existing works together into one sprawling mural, built to last — not a rotating display, but a fixture of the concourse. It's greeted travelers there ever since, on one of the busiest stretches of one of the busiest airports on Earth, quietly becoming one of the most-seen pieces of art in his portfolio.
