DECATUR ART
FESTIVAL ARTIST EXHIBIT
The ArtWalk opens the festival on Friday evening at 5 pm. The festival hours are Saturday, 10 am-6 pm, and Sunday, 11 am-5 pm. We encourage you to take MARTA to the Decatur Station, or bike to Downtown Decatur and use the Bike Valet Service, new to this year’s festival. A festival map with parking details will be available soon. Parking in the county deck at West Trinity Place behind the county courthouse is free (map). What if it rains? The festival will be held rain or shine. Yes, all events are free.

DECATUR BOOK FESTIVAL
The AJC Decatur Book Festival is the largest independent book festival in the country and one of the five largest overall. Since its launch, more than 1,000 world-class authors and hundreds of thousands of festival-goers have crowded the historic downtown Decatur square to enjoy book signings, author readings, panel discussions, an interactive children's area, live music, parades, cooking demonstrations, poetry slams, writing workshops, and more.

EDDIES ATTIC
Eddie's Attic is a music club in Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 1992 by Eddie Owen, it is a venue for both local musical talent and musicians of some acclaim who often got their start in the Atlanta area. Artists who developed their fanbase at Eddie's Attic include Shawn Mullins, Sugarland, Indigo Girls, Michelle Malone, Justin Bieber, disappear fear, The Civil Wars and John Mayer. Eddie's Attic also hosts a bi-annual songwriting contest, the Eddie's Attic Open Mic Shootout, where musical acts from around the United States compete to win a $1000 prize.

Take “A Walk Down Main Street” during the 31st annual Decatur Holiday Candlelight Tour of Homes Dec. 6 and 7. The tour showcases the neighborhoods along Decatur’s original main thoroughfare and attracts visitors from around the area to experience the history and tradition of our community during the holiday season.
